TWIN BUTTES TRAILS

No matter where you are within Twin Buttes, you’ll never be far from nature. The community backs up into the Perins Peak wilderness, with miles of trails traversing 10,000 acres.

In addition, 675 acres is dedicated to open space and trails, with much of this land gifted to the City of Durango. Twelve miles of hike/bike trails interconnecting Twin Buttes were planned, built and are maintained by local nonprofit  Trails 2000.
